Moving In - Østerbro Kollegiet

I finally got to move into Østerbro Kollegiet where I am going to be living for the next 6 months. 

It is a college set up like back in Australia except that everyone gets their own studio with bathroom and kitchenette.

So much snow!

Walking everywhere by foot for the first week meant I had a tonne of opportunities to stop and take photos, so here are some of all the glorious snow!

It has been so amazing being able to experience snow again, unfortunately it's 99% gone now but I am just happy to have seen some!

Wandering the City

They say that a photo is worth a thousand words, so here is how I see Copenhagen..

Finally Here.

So I'm sorry I've been pretty quite (ok completely silent) on the blog update front, it's been a hectic 2 weeks.

So I am now in Copenhagen!

I arrived at about 1:00 in the afternoon on the 28th and it was snowing! The best welcome present from Denmark.

I was greeted by Trine who is part of the mentor program here at the university of Copenhagen and we took my stuff to the hotel where I was going to stay for a few days before I could move into Østerbro Kollegiet where I will be living for these 6 months. 

I spent my time in the hotel getting over jetlag, exploring Copenhagen City centre and studying for and sitting my UNE exams. It was a bit rough doing them when it felt like 11:30pm due to my jetlag but it can't all be good times I guess.

I'll post a few photos soon but I figured I should make it publically known that I am here safely and all going well on this end.

This Somehow didn't get posted before I left

Snowing AND minus degrees so it'll stick around (fingers crossed) until when I arrive on Tuesday! :D

I'm completely packed, have left home, my family and my pets for the last time in the next 6 months. I am now in Sydney about to go to sleep and eagarly awaiting my flight tomorrow. Curse those evening flights that make you wait all day!

They Liked It So They Put A Ring On It

The pretty little piece of paper saying I have been granted my Residency and Work Visa arrived in the mail today, so I guess you could say things are getting pretty serious. One less stress :)

They said yes!
